「脊椎動物の生殖系列:その発生と成熟」

第30回基礎生物学研究所コンファレンスは「 Vertebrate Germ-Line : Its Development and Maturation 」と題して、脊椎動物の生殖細胞の形成に関わるホルモン情報伝達機構や細胞間相互作用について平成5年2月23日より25日にわたり開催された。最近特に進展が著しい始原生殖細胞の起源と分化、in vitro の精子形成、卵の成長と成熟、特に卵成熟促進因子 (MPF) の活性化と不活性化の分子機構などについて、それぞれの研究グループの最近の成果をもとに活発な討論が展開された。国外から9名、国内から13名の招待講演者を含めて、60名の参加者があり3日間のコンファレンス開催期間中、活発な討論、情報交換がなされたばかりでなく、いくつかの国内外共同研究も検討された。
