NIBB accepting research intern students

The National Institute for Basic Biology (NIBB), Department of Basic Biology in the School of Life Science of SOKENDAI (the Graduate University for Advanced Studies) is offering research internships for undergraduate and graduate students from foreign universities who wish to gain experience in scientific lab work.

Each intern will take part in ongoing research projects in a world-class research group and can also participate in various departmental activities, journal clubs, and seminars by outstanding researchers inside and outside of NIBB. It is also a good opportunity to experience a part of our PhD program for those who are considering entering the Ph.D. course in NIBB and SOKENDAI.

NIBB will support international travel expenses and accommodation costs at the institution’s lodge during the program. Please understand that in some cases full support may not be available due to budget considerations.

Applications for NIBB Internship Program 2015 are now open. The deadline is 26th June 2015. For application details including the schedule of Internship 2015 please see the following link.
