Professor Shosei Yoshida of the Division of Germ Cell Biology, the National Institute for Basic Biology has been awarded The Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Awards for Science and Technology (Research Category), for fiscal year 2025. This award is given to individuals or groups who have conducted highly original research or made inventions with a high potential to contribute to the advancement of science and technology in Japan. The award ceremony will be held at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology on April 15th.
