2017.10.02
We are organizing an International symposium entitled “Renaissance of Marchantia polymorpha -the genome and beyond-” in Okazaki, Japan from December 16 to 18, 2017 (https://www.nibb.ac.jp/conf65/). “Liverwort Marchantia polymorpha” has been used in the research for a long time, and has recently attracted great attention as a new model plant. The genome sequence of Marchantia has recently been available. So that, together with researchers who are interested in Marchantia studies, and the wider evolutionary studies community, we aim to discuss the latest research results and consider the next stage of plant science.
Poster presentations are welcome from participants, some of which will be selected for short talks. We are looking forward to seeing you in Okazaki.
