NIBB is Accepting Applications for Three Full Professorships

The National Institute for Basic Biology (NIBB), Okazaki, Japan, is inviting applications for three full professorships. Since being established following a recommendation by the Science Council of Japan in 1977, NIBB has been conducting research activities as a center for biological sciences. Such research activities are among the highest ranked in the field of biology in Japan. To continue efforts to serve as a national center for biology in Japan, NIBB recruits leading scientists not only from Japan but also from abroad. We seek candidates with excellent research records who can internationally lead the field of basic biology, in particular those answering fundamental questions in biology, specifically in:

・Plant science

・Neuroscience

In addition, we also welcome applications from candidates of any fields that have excellent potential to advance basic biology.
