We are happy to announce that NIBB will hold the 58th/60th Joint NIBB Conference ‘Germline –Specification, Sex, and Stem Cells–’. This joint conference focuses on the biology of germlines, a specialized cell type that produces gametes (eggs and sperm). This conference provides venues for a prominent group of researchers working on a wide range of topics concerning germline specification, germline sex determination, and germline stem cells to get together and exchange ideas. The organisms that will be discussed range from model organisms such as mice and fruit flies, to animals showing unique reproductive strategies such as fish, planarians, and hydra. We look forward to your participation.
