Kakegawa City

Kakegawa City (Kakegawa-shi) is an old Tokaido highway castle town of 115, 000 located in Shizuoka Prefecture. Currently a centre of green tea production and rose cultivation, Kakegawa City was formerly a rest stop on the east coast highway that linked Tokyo (then Edo) and Kyoto.
