Abstract: |
Gene expression data determined by in situ hybridization experiments
are a valuable resource because they provide information on the localization of
a transcript, with a spatial resolution, which cannot be reached with any other
high throughput approach.
Through robotics high throughput in situ hybridization experiments have been
performed and databases to capture these data have been developed for the major
model species, however data is stored in many different ways and formats.
Here I want to discuss a standard way to store and organize in situ data and
introduce approaches to analyze them by hierarchical clustering. Data analysis
can be used to support the search for cis-regulatory modules responsible for synexpression. |
