Abstract: |
Biological systems are intrinsically dynamic and constitutes a
hierarchy of fluent layers of structure and reaction with various
time constants, and this view is not historically new.
However, analyses of living cells largely owes recent advances of
optical technologies. Particularly, advances in optical microscope,
image-data analysis, simulation are pushing forward the
detailed analyses of complex and dynamic systems of unicellular as
well as multicellular organisms. In this seminar, I would like to
introduce the analyses of dynamics of intracellular events and cell
migration and discuss about the future prospect of this area.
