Double immunogold-labeling of senescing pumpkin cotyledons using antibodies against a leaf-peroxisomal enzyme, glycolate oxidase, and two glyoxysomal enzymes, malate synthase and isocitrate lyase. The leaf-peroxisomal enzyme and the glyoxysomal enzymes coexist in the same microbody in senescing pumpkin cotyledons. Bars represent O.5 nm. Mb microbody, Mt mitochondrion, C chloroplast.
