Jesus Vincente Carbajosa and\u00a0Joaquin Medina for their kindness to take me to the locality of <em>Aphyllanthes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Aphyllanthes<\/em> is a monotypic genus composed of <em>Aphyllanthes monspeliensis<\/em>, which is distributed in the Mediterranean region.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nibb.ac.jp\/plantdic\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/\u30b9\u30e9\u30a4\u30c93.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-728\" title=\"Aphyllanthes\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nibb.ac.jp\/plantdic\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/\u30b9\u30e9\u30a4\u30c93.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"540\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.nibb.ac.jp\/plantdic\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/\u30b9\u30e9\u30a4\u30c93.jpg 720w, http:\/\/www.nibb.ac.jp\/plantdic\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/\u30b9\u30e9\u30a4\u30c93-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Aphyllanthes monspeliensis<\/em>\u306f\u5149\u5408\u6210\u3092\u3057\u306a\u3044\u9c57\u7247\u72b6\u306e\u8449\u3092\u82b1\u5e8f\u306e\u57fa\u90e8\u306b\u6570\u679a\u6301\u3064\u3002\uff11\u82b1\u5e8f\u306b\uff11\u3064\u306e\u82b1\u3092\u4ed8\u3051\u3001\u5149\u5408\u6210\u3092\u3059\u308b\u8449\u3092\u4ed8\u3051\u306a\u3044\u6226\u7565\u3068\u3001\uff11\u82b1\u5e8f\u306b\u305f\u304f\u3055\u3093\u306e\u82b1\u3092\u4ed8\u3051\u3001\u5149\u5408\u6210\u3092\u3059\u308b\u8449\u3092\u4ed8\u3051\u308b\u6226\u7565\u3092\u8003\u3048\u308b\u3002\u3053\u306e\u6642\u306b\u3001\u82b1\u5e8f\u3068\u8449\u306e\u5149\u5408\u6210\u52b9\u7387\u304c\u540c\u3058\u3067\u3001\u4e21\u6226\u7565\u3067\u5f62\u6210\u3055\u308c\u308b\u82b1\u5e8f\u3068\u8449\u306e\u7dcf\u6570\u304c\u540c\u3058\u3060\u3068\u3059\u308b\u3068\u3001\u4e21\u65b9\u306e\u9069\u5fdc\u5ea6\u306f\u540c\u3058\u306b\u306a\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u601d\u308f\u308c\u308b\u3002\u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u5b9f\u969b\u306b\u306f<em>Aphyllanthes<\/em>\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u524d\u8005\u306e\u6226\u7565\u3092\u3068\u308b\u690d\u7269\u306f\u7a00\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002\u3069\u3046\u3057\u3066\u306a\u306e\u3060\u308d\u3046\u304b\u3002<\/p>\n<p>A single flower is formed at the tip of an inflorescence. There are two strategies: (1) multiple flowers in an inflorescence, to which several photosynthetic leaves accompany and (2) a single flower in an inflorescence and several inflorescences are formed without photosynthetic leaves. If the total number of inflorescences and leaves are the same in the two strategies and photosynthetic activities of a leaf and an inflorescence are the same, fitness of two strategies appears to be similar.
