How to use the database

<Search for a marker>

Select "species" and/or "classification" from the pulldown menu and push search button. You will get a list of candidate genes for your purpose.  By clicking on each gene, you will get more information, including the detailed description of expression patterns, and ISH images.

<Search for a gene>

Input the name of the gene you want to search.  If you don't get any hits, try other names or browse.

Push search button without selecting anything.  You will get the list of all the probes present in the database.  As of June 2009, there are 74 entries for 43 genes.
